Professional Overview

My professional development has been shaped by lifelong learning, reflective practice, educational leadership, and continuous engagement with emerging technologies, assessment standards, and industry developments. Over the past two decades, my experience has expanded across teaching, curriculum design, quality assurance, academic leadership, vocational education, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and workforce training.

I believe effective education must remain practical, inclusive, evidence-informed, and responsive to the changing needs of learners, employers, communities, awarding bodies, and industry. For this reason, my CPD focuses not only on improving my own practice, but also on improving the quality of learning, assessment, staff development, and organisational training systems.

My current development includes doctoral research in cybersecurity, with a focus on enhancing cybersecurity through artificial intelligence. This supports my continued growth in AI-driven cybersecurity, secure systems, digital resilience, cloud security, data protection, and technology-enhanced education.
